How to remove followers and block users with Growbot

Load usernames into the Accounts Queue, choose Remove Follower or Block, and process or schedule the list.

Why

Cleaning up bots, spam followers, or harassment accounts one by one is tedious. If you already have a list (from Community Monitoring, a CSV, or manual selection), Growbot can remove or block each account with the same delays and scheduling you use for follows.

How to use it

  1. Load the accounts into the Accounts Queue (from a saved list, CSV, Community Monitoring alert, or manual add).
  2. Click Process Queue and select either Remove Follower or Block.
  3. Review the list. Blocking is permanent from Instagram's side until you unblock manually.
  4. Run now or Schedule Actions to spread removals across your active hours.
  5. In Settings → Removing and Blocking Options, you can skip accounts that match your filters if needed. Whitelisted accounts are always skipped.
  6. Check the Log tab for confirmation. Removed accounts get a REMOVED stamp; blocked accounts get BLOCKED.

Tips

  • Try Community Monitoring bot alerts first if you want a pre-scored list of low-quality followers.
  • Removing a follower does not unfollow them. Unfollow and remove are different actions.
  • Export the queue to CSV before a mass block if you want a record of what you did.
