How to schedule Instagram actions with the Actions Queue
The Actions Queue lets you schedule follows, unfollows, and other actions to run at specific times throughout the day, even after a page refresh.
Why
Instead of processing everything at once, the Actions Queue spreads your actions over the days and hours you choose. This looks more natural to Instagram and helps you stay within rate limits. Scheduled actions are saved to your Growbot account, so they survive page refreshes and browser restarts.
How to use it
- Open the Actions Queue tab in Growbot. It lists every action Growbot will run, with its account, target, type, time, and status.
- To add actions, load accounts into the Accounts Queue, choose an action from the Process Queue menu, click Process Queue, and pick Run Now or Schedule Actions. Both create actions in this list.
- Growbot runs each action at its time while an Instagram tab is open and logged in to the right account. You do not need to keep the Growbot panel open.
- Optional: to keep actions inside the hours you are awake, check Only run actions during active hours in Settings → Active hours and set Start and End. Active hours are off by default.
- Use Hide Completed and Current Account Only to filter the list, and the Status column to see what is Waiting, Paused, or Completed.
- To change times, select actions and use Reschedule Selected or Redistribute Selected.
- To hold everything for this account, switch Actions Enabled to Actions Paused. It stays paused until you switch it back.

Tips
- If you turn on active hours, match them to when you really use Instagram. Actions running at 4 AM every night can look suspicious.
- Scheduled actions survive page refreshes. If your browser closes or you restart, the pending actions will still be there when you reopen Instagram.
- When you change your active hours, Growbot offers to move actions that no longer fit. Choose Redistribute into active hours to spread them across the new hours.
- Enable Keep Instagram tabs running in the background in Settings so Chrome does not unload your Instagram tab while actions are pending.
