Run Now vs. Schedule Actions in Growbot

Growbot gives you two ways to process your queue: Run Now for immediate back-to-back actions, or Schedule Actions to spread them across the days and hours you choose.

Why

When you are ready to process accounts from the Accounts Queue, Growbot gives you two options. Run Now starts processing immediately with your configured wait times between actions. Schedule Actions opens the scheduling panel where you spread actions across hours or days. Choosing the right option depends on how many actions you want to run and how cautious you want to be about rate limits.

How to use it

  1. Load accounts into the Accounts Queue and choose an action from the Process Queue menu.
  2. Click Process Queue. Growbot shows how many actions it will create and how long Run Now would take.
  3. Choose one:
    • Run Now: the first action runs right away and the rest follow at your Wait time from Settings → Delays, randomized by your percentage. The actions still go into the Actions Queue, so they survive a page refresh and respect the pause switch.
    • Schedule Actions: opens options for actions per day, the hours of the day to use, the minimum gap between actions, and which Instagram accounts take part.
  4. If active hours are on and Run Now would start outside them or run past their end, Growbot warns you first. Choose Start at (or OK) to keep your active hours, Turn off active hours and run now, or Back.
  5. In Schedule Actions, click Schedule to create the actions, or Back to return without scheduling.
  6. If you checked Unfollow After in the Process Queue menu, Growbot creates a matching unfollow for each follow, scheduled for the number of days you set.

Tips

  • Use Run Now for small batches (under 50 actions) where you want to get them done quickly in one sitting.
  • Use Schedule Actions for larger batches (100 or more) to spread them across several days and reduce the chance of hitting rate limits.
  • If you combine auto-scheduled unfollows with scheduled follows, Growbot handles both automatically. You follow today, and the unfollows run on their own after the number of days you chose.
  • After scheduling, you can still adjust individual actions in the Actions Queue tab. Select pending actions and use Reschedule Selected or Redistribute Selected to change their timing.
