How to grow Instagram followers with Growbot
Find accounts similar to yours, load their engaged followers, filter the list, follow in batches, then unfollow people who do not follow back.
Why
Random following does not work well. The accounts that follow you back are usually people who already care about your niche. Growbot makes it practical to find those people by starting from a profile that looks like yours and working from their followers, likers, or commenters.
How to use it
- Pick a seed account in your niche. If you run a local coffee shop, pick another coffee shop in your city. If you are a musician, pick a similar band.
- Open that profile on Instagram and use Load Accounts → Load Current Page's Followers (or open one of their posts and use Load Likers / Load Commenters) to fill the Accounts Queue.
- Open the Filters tab. Set ranges that match the kind of account you want (follower count, follow ratio, public vs private, last posted, etc.). Click Apply Filters or enable Apply Filters Automatically While Following in Settings.
- Select Follow and click Process Queue. Choose Schedule Actions if you have more than a few hundred accounts. Spread follows across your active hours.
- Wait several days. Many people need time to notice your follow and follow back.
- Load your own following list into the queue. Select Unfollow. In Settings, keep Don't unfollow people who follow me checked. Whitelist anyone you want to keep following no matter what.
- Repeat with a new seed account when this batch is done.
Tips
- One seed account per week is enough for most small businesses. Quality beats volume.
- Likers and commenters on a competitor's post are often more engaged than raw followers.
- Check Like 1 Pic(s) After Follow in the Process Queue menu if you want a bit more visibility before the unfollow pass.
- If your niche is local, load posts from a location page in the Media Queue, transfer posters to the Accounts Queue, then filter and follow.
