Get More Data: profile fields, language, and gender
Run Get More Data on the Accounts Queue to fetch profile stats, last post dates, extended contact fields, caption language, and optional gender guesses.
Why
A username alone is not enough to filter well. Get More Data fills in followers, following, ratio, bio, business flags, and more so filters and CSV exports actually work. Optional extras like language and gender help narrow international or niche audiences.
How to use it
- Load accounts into the Accounts Queue.
- Click Process Queue and select Get More Data (not Follow or Unfollow).
- Optional checkboxes under Get More Data:
- Get Last Post Date + Captions for Language: fetches when they last posted and reads recent captions for language detection columns.
- Get Extended Data: pulls public email, phone, and address fields when Instagram exposes them on the profile.
- Guess Gender from Name: sends display names to Growbot's server for a gender guess using country-specific name statistics. Set Gender country in Settings → Data first.
- Run or schedule. Growbot visits each profile and fills queue columns.
- Open Settings → Data → Columns to Show in Queue and CSV Export to choose which fields appear in the table and CSV.
- Use Filters → Gender (Male / Female / Unknown) after guessing gender. Language columns appear when caption data was loaded.
Tips
- Get More Data is slower than follows because it hits more endpoints per account. Schedule it overnight for large queues.
- Last post date does not work on private accounts. They may show blank or skip date filters.
- Gender guessing is statistical, not perfect. Review edge cases before auto-unfollowing based on gender filters alone.
- Enable Wait N seconds after loading additional account info in Settings if enrichment triggers 429 errors.
