Exporting and importing queue CSV files
Export any queue to a CSV file with the columns you choose, re-import exported CSVs, or save queues to your browser's local storage for later use.
Why
Sometimes you want to analyze your queue data outside of Growbot, share it with someone, or keep a backup. Growbot can export the Accounts Queue or Comments Queue to a CSV file and import those files back later. You can also save a queue to your browser's local storage and reload it without re-fetching from Instagram.
How to use it
- Export to CSV:
- Open the queue you want to export (Accounts Queue or Comments Queue).
- Click Export Queue (CSV).
- Growbot generates a CSV file and downloads it to your computer.
- Import a CSV (round-trip):
- Accounts Queue: click Load Queue, then Load queue from file, and choose a Growbot-exported CSV or a CSV with a
usernamecolumn. - Comments Queue: click Load Comments Queue and choose an exported comments CSV.
- Exported CSVs restore profile fields and comment metadata. Re-import replaces the current queue.
- Accounts Queue: click Load Queue, then Load queue from file, and choose a Growbot-exported CSV or a CSV with a
- Import a plain username list:
- Use Load queue from file with a
.txtfile (one username per line) or comma-separated usernames. - Growbot appends usernames to the queue. Run Get More Data before using them for actions.
- Use Load queue from file with a
- Choose which columns appear in export:
- Go to Settings → Data → Columns to Show in Queue and CSV Export.
- Checked columns appear in both the on-screen queue and CSV export.
- Save a queue to local storage:
- Click Save Queue on the Accounts Queue or Comments Queue.
- Load a saved queue:
- Accounts Queue: Load Queue → Load last known queue or Load queue from file (JSON
.txtfrom Save Queue). - Comments Queue: Load Comments Queue (local storage or JSON file).
- Accounts Queue: Load Queue → Load last known queue or Load queue from file (JSON
- Auto-save: in Settings under Sync & startup, check Load the last known queue on startup.
Tips
- The CSV export includes exactly the columns you have checked in Settings. If a column is unchecked, it will not appear in the export even if the data exists.
- To edit in Excel or Google Sheets, open the exported CSV or use Save As → CSV (UTF-8). Growbot does not import
.xlsxfiles directly. - A plain username list (no header row) is appended to the queue; a CSV with a
usernameheader replaces the queue with username-only rows. - Check Remove Unchecked Columns From Queue Data in Settings to prevent Growbot from even fetching data for unchecked columns. This can speed up queue loading.
- Saved queues use browser local storage, so they are tied to the browser profile you are using. Switching browsers or clearing site data removes saved queues.
- Sync settings across devices is available if you are signed into your Growbot account. Enable Sync settings across devices under Sync & startup to share your settings (but not queue data) between computers.
