How to install and open Growbot
Install from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, then open Growbot on any Instagram page.
Why
Growbot runs as a browser extension, not a separate app or website. It works directly inside your Instagram tab, so it can interact with the page the same way you would. You need to install it once, and it stays available whenever you visit Instagram.
How to use it
- Open the Chrome Web Store listing or the Firefox Add-ons listing.
- Click Add to Chrome (or Add to Firefox) and confirm the permission prompt.
- Go to any Instagram page (instagram.com).
- Click the Growbot icon in your browser toolbar to open or close the Growbot panel. You can also press Alt+G on any Instagram page.
- If you do not see the icon, click the puzzle-piece extensions button in your browser toolbar, find Growbot in the list, and pin it.
- Reload the Instagram page if the panel still does not appear.
Tips
- Pin the Growbot extension to your browser toolbar so it is always one click away.
- Growbot only activates on instagram.com pages. It will not appear on other websites.
- After installing, you may need to reload any Instagram tabs that were already open.
